Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden
Elizabeth Donelan currently serves as a Research Associate at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, contributing to the Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW) since December 2015. Prior experience includes a role as Research Assistant III at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where management of a lab focused on the role of commensal bacteria in immune response occurred, along with previous work in obesity and immune response related to atherosclerosis. Earlier positions included Lab Manager/Research Assistant at the University of Cincinnati, studying cholesterol in relation to obesity, and an internship managing vertebrate collections at the Maria Mitchell Association. Elizabeth holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Biology and Conservation from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Michigan State University.
