Dr Emily Hughes

Dr. Emily Hughes currently serves as a Lecturer in Psychology (Education & Scholarship) and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Exeter, with varying full-time equivalent commitments since August 2022. Prior experience includes a position as a Research & Data Analyst with the Department for Education during a secondment in early 2020. Dr. Hughes has held multiple leadership roles at the University of Exeter Students' Guild, including General Secretary of the A Cappella Society and President of the Psychology Society. During undergraduate studies at the University of Exeter, Dr. Hughes completed internships in various capacities within the Psychology department, culminating in a PhD in Psychology earned in 2022. Previous work experience includes roles in customer service as a Catering Assistant and Retail Sales Consultant.
