Atta Areqat

Atta Areqat has extensive work experience in the hospitality and event management industry. Atta currently holds the position of Director of Operations Training at Cinemark, where they are responsible for overseeing the training of staff members. Previously, they served as the General Manager at Cinemark's "Showcase to Hollywood" theater in Playa Vista. In this role, Atta was accountable for the theater's operations, including the restaurant, bar, and VIP accommodations. During their time at Cinemark, they had the opportunity to work on various high-profile events, such as the National Association of Theatre Owners Convention. Atta also served as the Board Treasurer at Wove In Love, starting in 2021.

Atta Areqat, MBA, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Loyola Marymount University, specializing in Business Administration and Management. Atta also completed an Executive MBA program at the same university. Prior to their MBA studies, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from California State University - East Bay in 2017.
