Jim Ruth

Jim Ruth, PhD has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Jim started their career in 2001 as the Director of the Project Management Office at American General Life Companies, which is now a part of the AIG Family. Jim held this position until 2014. From 2010 to 2016, they worked as a Faculty in the School of Business at the University of Phoenix. In 2014, they joined CROSSMARK as the Director of Web Services Integration, where they served as both Scrum Master and Product Owner for Web Services Applications. In 2017, they moved to Cinemark as the Director of Digital Platform and Application Development, where they were responsible for the development of customer-facing applications and enhancing the cinema exhibition purchase process. Jim Ruth, PhD has expertise in project management, web services integration, and business education.

Jim Ruth, PhD, obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organizational Psychology from Capella University in the years 2010-2015. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marine Biology and Biological Oceanography from Texas A&M University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. In 2022, Jim Ruth also obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, covering various areas such as conflict management, change management, design thinking, data storytelling, networking, and entrepreneurship.
