Dickson Mushabe

Dickson Mushabe has a diverse work experience. Dickson is currently serving as a Senior Mentor & Judge for the Big Ideas competition at the University of California, Berkeley, where they evaluate and provides guidance on innovative student projects. Dickson is also a Member of the Board of Directors at the Makerere Innovation and Incubation Center. Additionally, they are a WBAF International Partner for Uganda at the World Business Angels Investment Forum. In 2017, they founded and became the CEO of Cinnamon Clubs. From 2005 to 2018, they held various roles at Hostalite Ltd, including Chief Executive Officer and Regional Manager E.A. Dickson was also a Board Director at the ICT Association of Uganda. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chairman of East African Community Online (EACOL.COM) from 2006 to 2011.

Dickson Mushabe has a diverse education history. Dickson obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Information Technology Project Management from UMI between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology at Makerere University from 2001 to 2004. Dickson'searlier education includes completing their UACE (Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education) at Ntare School from 1995 to 1998. Additionally, they have obtained two additional certifications: a Certified Digital Marketing Associate from the Digital Marketing Institute in November 2021 and an Internationalization of Digital Businesses certification from the ITC SME Trade Academy, also obtained in November 2021.
