Barry Cinnamon

Barry Cinnamon is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the solar and energy sectors. As the CEO of Cinnamon Energy Systems since 2012, Barry has led a San Jose-based solar and battery storage contractor. Additionally, Barry serves as an Advisory Board Member for BWG Strategy LLC, an exclusive network for senior executives in technology, media, and telecom. Previously, Barry was the CEO of Spice Solar, which focused on reducing rooftop solar costs, and co-founded and led Akeena Solar, the largest national residential solar installer by 2006, taking the company public on NASDAQ that same year. Barry's career began in the software and new media industries, managing various companies and developing pioneering technologies. Barry's academic credentials include a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from The Wharton School.
