James Seymour, CISSP

James Seymour, CISSP, has a strong background in cybersecurity and information assurance. James currently works as a Cyber Security Specialist-Advanced at Cintel, Inc. since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Cyber Security Analyst at the US Army Materiel Command/Cyber Security Division from April 2014 to September 2020.

Before joining the US Army, James worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer/Analyst at Lynn-Allen, Inc. where they provided support to the HQ Army Materiel Command/Cyber Security Division since April 2009 and Missile Defense Agency CIO and Engineering Directorate from 2004 until 2014.

Their experience also includes a role as a Senior Information Assurance Engineer at the Missile Defense Agency from 2004 to April 2014. Before that, they worked as a Senior Information Assurance Engineer at General Dynamics Information Technology from June 2004 to March 2009, supporting the MDA Senior Information Assurance Officer in accreditation decisions for various defense systems.

James began their career in the US Air Force, where they served as a Communications-Computer Systems Officer from May 1999 to June 2004 and in Space Systems Maintenance from August 1983 to May 1999.
