Milaydis Sosa Napolskij

Milaydis Sosa Napolskij is a Translator and Member of the Management Team at CINTESIS, having started her duties in June 2017. A translator and interpreter, with a degree in English from the Universidad de La Habana, Cuba, Milaydis Sosa Napolskij obtained a specialization degree in Terminology and Translation in 2004 and a PhD in Language Sciences, branch of Human Language Technologies in 2021, both from the Faculty of Letters from the University of Porto (FLUP).

She started her career as an English teacher, having, in 2003, embarked on communication and scholarship management within the scope of the High Level Scholarship Program for Latin America (AlBan). In 2010, she joined the Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences (ICBAS) as advisor to the direction of the Department of Immuno-Physiology and Pharmacology (IMFF) and the Multidisciplinary Unit for Biomedical Research – UMIB.

At the same time, she has participated in several scientific and academic events as an interpreter and assistant and, more recently, as a member of the organizing committees in the management of spaces and communications, budget preparation and logistical coordination.
