Geert van Loy

Geert Van Loy has a diverse work experience. Geert is currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure Delivery at Cipal Schaubroeck since April 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Solutions Architect at the same company from September 2019 to April 2021.

Before joining Cipal Schaubroeck, Geert worked at Cegeka as a Presales Consultant from January 2019 to September 2019 and as a Lead Architect from January 2018 to December 2018.

Geert has also served at Cipal Schaubroeck as a Solution Architect from February 2013 to January 2018, where their responsibilities included designing and integrating complex solutions based on various technologies.

Their previous experiences include working at Belgacom as a Solution Architect - System Integration Engineer IPTV from October 2012 to January 2013, at Nokia Siemens Networks as a Solution Architect- System Integration IPTV from January 2009 to October 2012, at City Live NV as a Technical Sales Engineer for mobile internet applications from May 2008 to November 2008, and at Nokia Siemens Networks as an IPTV Consulting and System Integration Engineer from June 2005 to April 2008.

Geert started their career at Siemens, where they served as a J2EE System Architect from March 2003 to June 2005 and as a J2EE Analyst/Development Engineer from January 1999 to March 2003.

From 1995 to 1999, Geert Van Loy attended Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen, where they pursued a degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in telecommunications.
