Steve Bridger started their work experience in 1996 as a Senior Web Consultant at Online Publishing Ltd, where they were responsible for coding content in HTML and later became the Production Manager, Account Director, and Senior Consultant. Steve worked on developing the non-profit sector client base and implementing websites for various organizations. In 1998, they became a Founding Director at Redefine Ltd.

In 2000, Steve Bridger founded Mexicanwave, the UK's top website about Mexico, where they wrote, commissioned, and managed content, as well as drove the overall strategic direction of the project and developed partnerships.

Additionally, they received a TESOL Certificate from Trinity College London in 1992.
