Katie Prowd

Katie Prowd has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Katie currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Cipher Sports Technology Group starting from November 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Hypometer Technologies from November 2015 onwards, holding the positions of CEO and Director. Additionally, Katie has co-founded and served as the CEO of Fantasy Insider, a leading information platform in the Australian Daily Fantasy Sports industry since January 2016. In their earlier career, they worked as a Researcher at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Creative Industries and Innovation (CCI), QUT, specializing in Telemetrics and analyzing big data, including Twitter and Facebook. Katie authored and co-authored several articles for The Conversation during their time at QUT.

Katie Prowd obtained their Bachelor's Degree from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) in 2014. Katie'sdegree was in Media & Communications and Business/Advertising. Prior to that, they attended Matthew Flinders Anglican College in Buderim, Queensland from 2003 to 2009, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned during this time.
