Edward Dunkwu (CertIFR, MBA, FCA)

Edward Dunkwu has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Edward is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria CIPM. Prior to this, they held the same position at Day Waterman College for two years.

Edward also has a strong background in finance and accounting. Edward worked as the Finance Controller at the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria for ten years, where they were responsible for the conversion from Nigeria GAAP to IFRS for financial reporting.

Edward has also served as an Assistant Business Manager at the American International School of Lagos, where they supervised the Business Office and developed financial statements and cash flows for management use.

Edward's earlier experiences include roles as an Internal Auditor at Meadow Hall Group, Atlantic Hall Educational Trust Council, and Accountant at Imperial Medical Center. In these positions, they were involved in tasks such as banking operations, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with internal control procedures.

Edward Dunkwu's education history is as follows:

From 1982 to 1988, they attended St. Joseph's Boys Secondary School in Suru - Lere, Lagos, where they obtained their WAEC qualification.

In 2001, they enrolled at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and completed the ACA program, specializing in Accounting, in 2005.

During the same period, from 2001 to 2003, they also attended Lagos City Polytechnic, Ikeja, where they pursued a HND in Accountancy.

In 2006, Edward Dunkwu returned to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria to undertake the Certification in International Financial Reporting, which they completed in 2017.

In 2007, they pursued an MBA program in Financial Management at Olabisi Onabanjo University (O.O.U), which they successfully completed in 2010.

Edward Dunkwu's educational journey continued with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, where they attained the Fellow qualification in Accountancy.
