Florencia Yañez is a seasoned climate change consultant with extensive experience in various roles related to climate policy and education. Currently serving as a Climate Change Consultant and Coordinator of the T20 Climate Action & Infrastructure for Development Task Force at CIPPEC since December 2017, Yañez also contributes as a teaching fellow at the Metropolitan University of Work and Education, focusing on Climate Change and Sustainable Development. From May 2007 to September 2016, Yañez worked at the Argentine Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, advising on climate negotiations and institutional collaborations. Previous experience includes technical advice on climate issues for Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero and a technical internship with the UNFCCC. Yañez holds a Master in International Studies from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella and various qualifications in climate change from institutions such as the Spanish Office of Climate Change and the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
