Fatou Seck Thiam

Fatou Seck THIAM is a senior bioinformatics engineer currently working at Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris since March 2025. Simultaneously, Fatou serves as a research engineer in bioinformatics and immuno-oncology at Université Paris-Sorbonne, focusing on the search for new tumor biomarkers and the study of the tumor microenvironment. Since September 2021, Fatou has also held a research engineer position at CIRAD and has been an intern at IRD since February 2021, contributing to the genetic diversity characterization of SARS-CoV-2 in French Guiana's wastewater. Earlier experience includes bioinformatics internships at the Institut de Génétique Humaine and roles as a senior laboratory technician at Hôpital pour Enfant de Diamniadio, showcasing expertise in biological analysis and data curation. Fatou's educational background includes multiple degrees in bioinformatics and biology from the University of Montpellier and Ecole Supérieure Polytechnique de Dakar.
