Jean-Baptiste Durand

Jean-Baptiste Durand is a Senior Researcher at CIRAD since October 2022 and has held the position of Junior Researcher at INRIA since October 2004. Concurrently, Jean-Baptiste served as an Assistant Professor at Grenoble INP Ensimag from October 2004 to October 2022 and was the Director of the Master's program in Applied Mathematics: Data Science at Université Grenoble Alpes from September 2015 to September 2019, overseeing the data science curriculum in the international MSIAM master's program. Jean-Baptiste's academic journey includes an Habilitation à diriger des recherches (HDR) in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Université Grenoble Alpes in 2020 and an Engineer's degree from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, obtained between 1995 and 1999. Education also includes time at lycée Claude Fauriel from 1994 to 1996.
