Tom van der Aa

Tom Van der Aa has a diverse work experience in the field of ICT, with a strong focus on management and leadership roles. Tom started their career in 2000 at Atos as a Desktop Engineer and later transitioned to a System Engineer role. At Atos, they gained experience in service delivery management, including roles such as Service Delivery Manager and Service Delivery & CSI Manager. Tom also worked as an IT Manager for Fifthnet, where they managed the company's IT operations. Tom then joined Circet Benelux as Chief Digital Officer, responsible for defining and deploying the company's digital strategy. Tom has a broad technical background in infrastructure ICT, including cloud and on-prem solutions. Tom has extensive experience in project management, holding certifications in PRINCE2 and ITIL. Throughout their career, Tom has consistently demonstrated their ability to bridge the gap between business and digital teams and deliver high-quality customer services.

Tom Van der Aa attended HOGENT from 1997 to 1999, where they studied informatics. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the PRINCE 2 - Practitioner certification from Bizness Academie in January 2013. In August 2011, they achieved the ITIL V3 Foundation certification from Global Knowledge and the PRINCE 2 - Foundation certification from Bizness Academie. Prior to that, in May 2010, they obtained the ITIL V2 Foundation certification from Global Knowledge. Finally, in August 2008, they earned both the MCITP Windows Server 2008 and the MCITP: Enterprise Administrator on Windows Server 2008 certifications from Microsoft.
