Hilde van Duijn

Hilde van Duijn is a seasoned professional specializing in circular economy initiatives, currently serving as the Head of Global Value Chains at Circle Economy since October 2018. At Circle Economy, Hilde drives the transition to a global circular economy through transnational cooperation and public-private partnerships, focusing on low and lower-middle income countries. Hilde also leads various projects, including the SWITCH to Circular Economy Value Chains and Sorting for Circularity programs, aimed at promoting sustainable practices within global textile value chains. As a co-founder and social entrepreneur at EigenDraads, Hilde seeks to transform used textiles into new raw materials while creating job opportunities. Prior experience includes Executive Director at the Organic Cotton Accelerator and Senior Consultant at NewForesight, among other roles in strategic and policy consulting within environmental and resource management. Hilde holds an Ir. degree in Technology, Policy, and Management from Delft University of Technology.
