Richard Slaney

Richard Slaney began their work experience in 1987 as an Underwriter at Norwich Union. Richard then worked as an Insurance Clerk at Derek R Jones and Associates from 1995 to 1997. In 1998, they joined Bland Bankart as an Account Handler before moving to Eurorisk Consultants Ltd as an Account Broker. At Eurorisk, they grew the client portfolio and specialized in haulage insurance. In 2007, Eurorisk was acquired by Circle Insurance Services Ltd, where Richard was promoted to Senior Account Handler. Richard eventually became Operations Director in 2017, responsible for group systems and procedures, operational compliance, and complaints. Richard continued to look after their portfolio of commercial clients while overseeing 6 locations across the UK.

Richard Slaney attended Holgate School from 1978 to 1985, where they obtained no specific degree or field of study. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Cert CII from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
