Sylvanie Meignié has worked in the fashion industry since 2013. Sylvanie began their career as the Founder of Hyperbase, a company that transforms concept art into concrete solutions and projects the future of textile. In 2014, they started working as a Circularity and Materials Innovation Consultant for their own company. In 2017, they took on the role of Head of Sustainability and Design for Torq Labs, a company that creates sport connected leggings to prevent injuries. Sylvanie also worked as a Designer for Maison Lejaby, creating an eco-friendly underwear collection for women. In 2019, they took on the role of Sourcing Fabrics and Traceability Manager for Atelier Coco&Rico, an agency and factory for sustainable brands. Sylvanie also became the Circularity and Materials Innovation Director/Consultant for Circle Sportswear, where they developed circular processes from recycled waste to finish garments, and sourced sustainable and performant recycled fibers and fabrics in Europe. In 2020, they became a Material and Circularity Advisor for Conservation X Labs' Microfiber Innovation Challenge. In 2021, they became a Circularity and Materials Innovation Director/Consultant for La Caserne, and a Material and Circularity Advisor for The Woolmark Company's Woolmark Performance Challenge.
Sylvanie Meignié received a Master in Global Design, Research & Innovation from Ecoles de Condé in 2013, after completing a Bachelor in Fashion Design & Environment from the same school in 2011. In 2015, they undertook a Web Strategy & E-commerce Training at the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie de Paris, as well as Entrepreneurship & Marketing Strategy Training at Paris Pionnières.
