Dominik Laifr

Dominik Laifr has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Dominik started their career as a Full Stack Engineer at Lanovia, s.r.o. from June 2018 to March 2019. Dominik then worked as a Front End Architect at IVEX print from September 2019 to November 2019. Following this, Dominik joined Comenius University in Bratislava as a Full Stack Engineer, where they were responsible for creating a web interface for clients and psychologists, implementing evaluation algorithms, and using various technologies such as Vue, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB. After leaving Comenius University, Dominik worked as a Full-stack Developer at eDocu a.s. for a brief period from April 2020 to July 2020. Here, they contributed to the development of a data-driven web platform using Angular, Node.js, MQTT, MongoDB, and AWS. Subsequently, they joined Vamp.io as a Full-stack Developer from July 2020 to May 2021. Finally, Dominik currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at CircleCI, where they are involved in the release orchestration team and responsible for bringing continuous deployment platforms to users, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, Go, React, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, GraphQL, and gRPC.

Dominik Laifr attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2020 to 2023, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
