Sami Sayyed, PMP has an extensive work history in the field of project management. Sami began their career at Motorola in 1999 as an Engineering Manager, Worldwide Implementation Engineering, where they established best iDEN implementation practices, performed employee ranking and evaluation, and developed and implemented training plans and Scope of Work for implementation engineers. In 2002, they were promoted to Manager, Core Support Team, Global iDEN, where they managed program manager and engineering resources to deploy software to international customers and provide technical assistance to the customer and field teams. Sami then moved to Senior Manager, Operations Business (Product Development, Program Manager and Engineering) in 2008, where they managed global core operations support for 26 customers across North America, Latin America, Middle East and Asia. In 2010, they returned to Motorola Solutions as a Sr. Program/Project Manager, where they lead and managed large, complex enterprise-level projects consisting of multiple Agile teams, and provided coaching and guidance to the team members. In 2014, they were promoted to VP of Engineering & Head of Product Development at CircleIt, and in 2019, they returned to Motorola Solutions as a Business Development Manager.
Sami Sayyed, PMP has a diverse educational background. Sami holds a Masters in Business Administration, Management and Operations from Olivet Nazarene University, a Masters in Project Management from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. In addition, they have obtained an ITIL Certification from EXIN in February 2014 and a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute in December 2014.
