DESCRIPTION

If you are a dynamic Information Technology professional with a passion for technical support and services and a commitment to driving results, we want to hear from you. We are currently looking for a Senior IT Specialist to join the IT team at Circle Medical Technologies. As we continue to grow, we are constantly searching for exceptional talent to be a part of our team. This position is based out of our Montreal, Quebec office.

The Senior IT Specialist will be supporting IT systems across the organization, contributing to our mission to create the technology that enables quality, delightful primary care for everyone on the planet.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Manage the company’s device inventory and device enrolment system efficiently.
  • Administer user accounts, ensuring seamless onboarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Conduct IT-related training sessions for new hires, users, and technical teams as required.
  • Provide prompt technical support to end-users through the IT Helpdesk, resolving issues effectively.
  • Oversee software apps and vendor inventory maintenance.
  • Document problems and resolution procedures meticulously for future reference.
  • Uphold company security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Team collaboration and independent troubleshooting expertise.
  • Report system downtime and performance issues promptly, and ensure rapid response times to IT issues to maintain business continuity.
  • Continuously update knowledge of IT best practices through ongoing education.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • College degree or equivalent work-related experience in Computer Science, Computer Management, or IT Computing.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT role.
  • Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting, managing and maintaining Apple and Windows systems.
  • Experience deploying and managing MDM platforms.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, basic threat detection, and implementing secure IT environments.
  • Passion for staying updated on emerging IT trends, tools, and systems to drive innovation.
  • Strong critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to address IT challenges efficiently.
  • Proficient in creating detailed IT reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and technical documentation.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under pressure.
  • Proficient time management skills, consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate when necessary.
  • Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU AN EDGE

  • Good knowledge of security principles.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA, PIPEDA, GDPR or other similar regulations.
  • Basic programming skills (ie, ability to write scripts for automation).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in French.
