John P. Sabra M.d. Facs

John P. Sabra, M.D. FACS has a comprehensive work experience in various medical and consulting roles. John P. is currently the Co-Founder and Surgeon at Austin Thyroid Surgeons since 2017. Prior to this, they served as an Assistant Professor at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin starting from 2015. In 2012, they co-founded and became the Managing Partner of MedtoMarket Consulting, Inc. John P. also co-founded and served as the Managing Partner of RN.D.S. starting from 2016. Additionally, they held the position of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) at Circuit of The Americas from 2013. Dr. Sabra has a strong background in surgery, including General Surgery, Endocrine Surgery, and Trauma Surgery at Seton Family of Hospitals since 2003. John P. also served as the Fleet Surgeon in the US Navy from 2000 to 2003. In 2014, they took on the role of Committee Chair of Membership and Fundraising at the International Council of Motorsport Science until September 2019. John P. Sabra, M.D. FACS received their BA in Biology from Brown University in 1991. John P. then went on to earn their M.D. degree from Brown University in 1995, specializing in Medicine. Following their medical degree, Dr. Sabra completed a General Surgery Residency Program at UT Southwestern Medical Center from 1995 to 2000.

In addition to their education, Dr. Sabra holds various certifications, including being board certified in Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. John P. is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), which is a prestigious distinction in the field. Dr. Sabra has further obtained additional certifications, such as being an instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support by the American College of Surgeons and holding the FIM Superlicense from the FIM (Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme).
