Zac Mijares-Shafai

Zac Mijares-Shafai currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development & Commercial Affairs at Circuit of The Americas since April 2025. Prior to this role, Zac was involved with the 4ATX Foundation as a Board Governance Committee Member from December 2023 to February 2025 and held the position of Associate General Counsel and Director of Legal & Business Affairs at Austin FC from February 2023 to February 2025. Zac's earlier experience includes working as a Corporate Associate at Kirkland & Ellis from August 2020 to January 2023, and various roles at CEB, now Gartner, from June 2012 to May 2017, including Associate Director and Analyst positions. Zac began professional endeavors with an internship in Sales and Marketing at Coca-Cola FEMSA in 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management and a Doctor of Law from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, both completed in 2020, along with a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University earned in 2012.
