Roy Vercoulen

Roy Vercoulen has had a varied and successful career. In 2016, they founded and became the CEO of Circular IQ, a software startup that delivers SaaS solutions for businesses seeking to deliver on their sustainability promises. From 2017 to present, they have served as a Business Mentor for the Investment Ready Program NL, a 5-month peer-learning program organized by Impact Hub NL. In 2012, Roy became the Vice President and Head of European Operations for the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, a member of the leadership team. From 2010 to 2012, they were the President of the owners association for Piuscomplex and a Board-member for Lekker Venlo Foundation, a 3-day culinary event held annually in Venlo. In 2012, they became Chairman for JCI-Venlo and Executive Director for C2C ExpoLAB Foundation, founding and establishing the organization. From 2007 to 2010, Roy was a project manager Cradle to Cradle and a Policy Adviser economic development for Gemeente Venlo. Finally, from 2005 to 2007, they were a Supply chain consultant and Traineeship for Janssen.

Roy Vercoulen's education history is as follows: Roy attended Willibrordusschool Venlo from 1987 to 1992. Roy then attended Stedelijk College Den Hulster from 1992 to 1999, where they obtained their HAVO & MAVO in Economics I, Economics II, English, Dutch, Roy'story & Mathematics. Roy then attended Fontys University of Applied Sciences from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their Bba in Management, Economics, Law, Real Estate. Roy then attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained their Msc. in Public Policy, Politics, Government Administration. Roy then attended Publiek Domein from 2008 to 2009, where they studied Strategisch Bewegen in Gemeentelijke Oganisaties. Roy then attended Language Institute Regina Coeli in 2011, where they studied Spanish, Intensive language training. Lastly, they attended Environmental Protection and Encouragement Agency (EPEA) in 2011, where they obtained their Certified Cradle to Cradle® Consultant in Cradle to Cradle®.
