Shan Guan

Shan directs all research and development within our engineering team, and works closely with our customer development team to ensure customer success. Prior to joining CWD, Shan was a Principle Consultant at DNV GL, where he worked on sensors and risk modeling. Dr. Guan obtained a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 and a Masters in Electrical Engineering in 2003, both from the University of Minnesota. He obtained a M.S. and B.S. in Materials Science from BeiHang University. Dr. Guan has published over 50 papers and been awarded more than 10 patents.
