John Atcheson

Co-Founder/CEO at Circular Way

John Atcheson has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. In 2000, they founded and served as the CEO of Ads.com. From 2001 to 2007, they were a Board Director at Seattle Symphony. In 2008, they co-founded and served as the CEO of SparkWords until 2010. From 2012 to 2013, they were the COO of Grist. John also served as a Board Director at Sightline Institute from 1999 to 2014, and as the Board Chair from 2006 to 2012. At Getaround, they served as the Vice President from 2010 to 2012 and as an Advisor from 2012 to 2015. From 2014 to 2020, they were the Founder/Chair of Stuffstr, a social enterprise focused on sustainability. At CauliBox, they served as an Advisor starting in 2021. In 2021, they co-founded Sellalong, where they currently hold the position of Co-Founder/CEO. Most recently, in 2022, they co-founded Circular Way and also serves as the Co-Founder/CEO.

John Atcheson obtained an AB degree in Economics & Music from Brown University, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. John then pursued further education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, earning an MBA between 1984 and 1986.
