Thomas Burke

Thomas Burke is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and application development. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering for the UI Platform at Cirium since February 2019, Thomas has held various leadership roles, including Director of Engineering and Engineering Lead for Web & Mobile Applications at FlightGlobal from March 2017 to January 2019. Prior to that, Thomas contributed as a Software Engineer at FlightStats, Inc., focusing on application development with React, Redux, and NodeJS. Early career highlights include positions at Box Elder Solutions, LLC as Principal, where Thomas specialized in spatial web application development and cartography, and technical support roles at Spot Metrix. Thomas's initial foray into the workforce included positions at Columbia Land Trust and as a Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech, where Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Planning.
