Caroline DeBrota has a wealth of experience in engineering and research. Caroline began their career in 2015 as a Summer Researcher for Eli Lilly and Company's Bioassay Group in Bioproducts R&D. In 2016, they were a Research Student in Biosystems Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. In 2017, they were a Senior Design Capstone and Engineering Intern at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Rose-Hulman Ventures, respectively. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Design Validation & Verification Test Engineer at DEKA Research & Development. In 2021, they began their current role as a Mechanical Engineer at Cirkul.

Caroline DeBrota obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2018. Caroline also holds a certification in Onshape Fundamentals: CAD Learning Pathway Completion from Onshape, a PTC Business, obtained in June 2021.
