Thomas Urbanik has over 13 years of experience in engineering and product design. In 2006, they began their career as an Engineer at Dynamic Bicycles, where they led product design and development for bicycles and optimized design to spur durability, performance, and quality improvements. In 2009, they moved on to Rugged Cycles as a Design Engineer, replacing two old bicycle models with new and improved versions and boosting overall product quality by catalyzing manufacturing improvements. In 2010, they joined Joule Unlimited as a Design Engineer, where they directed efforts to design and produce a photo-bio reactor and drove a 30% reduction in cost for fuel production by leading efficiency and performance improvements. In 2013, they founded inVisible Engineering, a product design consultancy, and served as the key point of contact for clients. Thomas also moved to Andrews-Coopers Technology, Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they performed product development for consumer and medical products. Finally, in 2017, they joined Cirkul as the VP of Engineering, playing a key role in driving product development, manufacturing improvements, and customer satisfaction. Thomas also improved organizational structure as a VP.

Thomas Urbanik attended Souhegan High School from 1998 to 2001, and then went on to Northeastern University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2005.
