Cole Houston

Cole Houston has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and education fields. From 2018 to present, they have been a Lead Mechanical Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, and Mechanical Engineer at Cirkul. From 2016 to 2018, they were an Associate Design Engineer at Newell Brands, where they led design of injection molded plastic parts and performed failure mode and tolerance analyses. From 2015 to 2016, they were a Consulting Mechanical Engineer at Origo and an FEA and Test Engineering Intern at CoolChip Technologies, Inc. In 2014, they were an Entrepreneurship Instructor at MIT Global Startup Labs. In 2013, they were a Mentor at 2.00b: Toy Product Design, a Student Consultant at ATIC Lab, and a Maker Corps Intern at the Museum of Science, Boston.

Cole Houston received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering concentrating in Product Design from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2015.
