Kamal Kooner

Kamal Kooner, CPA, serves as Team Lead in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) at CIRO / OCRI since February 2022, after holding the position of Senior Financial Analyst in the same department. Prior to this role, Kamal Kooner worked at CAPREIT from August 2018 to January 2022 as a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A and as a Corporate Analyst in Internal Audit. Experience also includes a tenure as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Waterloo from September 2015 to August 2018, as well as positions as an Information Security Analyst at CIBC and an Excise Tax Auditor at the Canada Revenue Agency in 2016. Academic qualifications include a Master of Accounting and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, both obtained from the University of Waterloo.
