Sean Hamilton

Sean Hamilton is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs & Member Education Services at CIRO/OCRI since July 2020. Prior roles include Vice President of Digital Communications at OMERS, where strategic management of digital communication was emphasized, and Director of Communications Operations, overseeing a diverse team and multiple project initiatives. Previously, Sean held several leadership positions at Scotiabank, CIBC, and the Ontario Government, focusing on corporate communications, stakeholder relations, and media management. Sean possesses a degree in Journalism from Humber College and has developed a comprehensive background in strategic communications and public affairs throughout a diverse career spanning over two decades.
