John Gallo

SVP, Operations at Cirrus Aircraft

John Gallo is the Senior Vice President of Operations at Cirrus Aircraft. John has over 18 years of experience in the aerospace industry, with a focus on production and manufacturing.

Gallo began their career at Piper Aircraft in November 2000, where they served as Vice President of Operations and Corporate Officer. In this role, they were responsible for Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems, Procurement; Production Control, Quality Assurance and Facilities organizations. John also acquired the responsibilities for the Engineering, Research and Development, Human Resources, Customer Service, and Information Technology during the recession period and the downturn in Aviation (2002-2004).

In July 2005, Gallo left Piper Aircraft to become President of Defense Programs at Rolls-Royce. In this role, they led all Rolls-Royce's global defense production programs. The business had 13 production programs in 103 countries and served 160 armed services. Gallo was responsible for this multi-billion dollar business' value stream (P&L, customer, cost, quality, delivery, supply chain).

In December 2016, Gallo left Rolls-Royce to become President- DRT Aerospace at DRT Holdings, Inc. DRT Power Aerospace is a premier manufacturer of a wide variety of precision machined components and assemblies serving the aerospace and power generation industries. Gallo served in this role until August 2018.

Gallo has been with Cirrus Aircraft since August 2018 and currently serves as SVP, Operations.

John Gallo received their MBA in Management from Cardinal Stritch University and their BS in Industrial Technology from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. John is also FAA certified and Instrument rated Private Pilot.

John Gallo works with Michelle Roemer - SVP, Information Technology, Todd Simmons - President, Customer Experience, and Curtis Landherr - SVP & General Counsel. John Gallo reports to Zean Nielsen, CEO.
