Jim Duffy

Jim Duffy has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Jim began their career in 1998 as an Associate Vice President of Storage Engineering at Deutsche Bank. Here, they managed projects to develop a storage management infrastructure and implemented data storage and replicated SAN arrays for up to 200TB of data. In 2004, they became a Project Manager of Storage and SAN Implementation at the United States Patent & Trademark Office, where they architected a Core/Edge SAN environment and directed a major data consolidation effort. In 2005, they joined Dell EMC as a Senior Solutions Architect of Storage and SAN Implementations, providing technical leadership for Department of Defense accounts within the US Pentagon. Jim then moved to SOFTNET in 2007 as a Professional Service Engineer for NetApp, providing support services for all Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) sites. In 2009, they returned to EMC as a Senior Solutions Architect, leading storage solution design and on premise support for global implementations. In 2016, they became a Project Consultant of Data & Storage at Dell/EMC | Infinidat | Community Health Services, consulting with clients to provide onsite and remote data management and storage infrastructure support. Most recently, they joined Cirrus Data Solutions Inc. in 2020 as a Senior Solutions Sales Engineer, developing enterprise class data management software solutions and enabling automated data storage migration, back-up, and recovery solutions.

Jim Duffy received a Diploma in Computer Programming from Chubb Institute in North Brunswick, NJ.
