Chris Houghton

Chris Houghton has been working with industrial controls and SCADA applications for over 30 years. He started in the Oil and Gas industry and combines an engineering background with strong business expertise to lead Cirrus Link as CEO. Chris began his career in the UK as a data acquisition project manager for BICC Transmitton and later led the process control division at Arcom. He was appointed CEO of Arcom in charge of global management and oversaw record sales for the company. During this time, he collaborated with Arlen Nipper to execute new innovations in remote data and M2M technology which led to the founding of Cirrus Link. Chris has a bachelor’s degree in engineering (BENG) and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from Baker University.
