Keith Playford

Chief Architect, Tools at Cirrus Logic

Keith Playford is an accomplished technology architect and chief architect with extensive experience in leading software development teams. Currently serving as the Chief Architect for the Tools team at Cirrus Logic since November 2017, Playford excels in facilitating the creation of advanced graphical tooling for Cirrus products, including the development of the SoundClear Studio suite. Prior roles include Chief Architect for mobile applications at TomTom, where Playford pioneered cross-platform app development, and led the creation of TomTom's next-generation navigation app. Playford's career also includes key positions at Symbian, Nokia, and Accenture, focusing on mobile operating systems and Java technology. Earlier, Playford contributed to the development of Apple's Dylan programming language at Harlequin. Educational qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and a Postgraduate Research degree in Computer Science from the University of Bath.
