Eugene Heim

Eugene Heim is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity and information systems management. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency since January 2023, Eugene previously held the role of IT Specialist (INFOSEC) at the US Department of Homeland Security from February 2012 to June 2023. Prior roles include International Relations Specialist for the US Air Force, where responsibilities involved developing and negotiating international agreements in cyberspace, and participation as a Presidential Management Fellow in the US Federal Government, focusing on leadership development in information systems and national defense. Eugene's career also encompasses program analysis and software engineering roles and a background in military service as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Cincinnati, a Master’s in Public Administration from Bowie State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from John Carroll University.
