George Stathakopoulos serves as the Vice President of Corporate Information Security at Apple since March 2016. In addition to this role, Stathakopoulos is an advisor on the Cybersecurity Advisory Committee for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), contributing to the advancement of national cybersecurity initiatives. Stathakopoulos is also a member of the Information Technology Advisory Board (ITAB) for the United Nations World Food Programme. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Information Security at Amazon.com and holding various positions at Microsoft, including General Manager of Product Security and Engineer. Stathakopoulos earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Portland State University between 1989 and 1994.
