Sam Koffman currently serves as the Engagement Lead at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, having joined in January 2024. Previously, positions included Associate and Senior Compliance Analyst within the Regulatory Practice Group at Goldman Sachs from March 2020 to May 2022, along with a Secondment as a Legal Analyst at Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC while working as a Capital Markets Legal Assistant/Paralegal at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP from June 2018 to February 2020. An earlier legal internship occurred at envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG in the summer of 2017, while a Political and Economic Internship was completed at the U.S. Department of State in 2016. Prior experience includes a research internship at the Foreign Policy Research Institute and a social media internship at Lifevest Health. Sam Koffman is currently a Master of Science in Foreign Service candidate at Georgetown University, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Law, Letters, and Society from the University of Chicago, along with studies at Freie Universität Berlin and a high school diploma from Phillips Academy.
