Veronica Mitchell, an accomplished cybersecurity professional, currently serves as Supervisor of Cybersecurity at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) since May 2024, focusing on implementing cybersecurity and privacy principles. Previously, Veronica held the position of Director of Cybersecurity at Chedraui USA, delivering cybersecurity leadership across corporate teams and multiple retail brands. As Head of Information Security for the City of Santa Monica and Chief Risk Officer for the City of Long Beach, Veronica developed and maintained comprehensive Cyber Security Programs, leveraging risk-based approaches to safeguard public sector operations. Early career roles included IT Specialist for the Department of Defense and IT Audit Manager for Ally.
