Aalap Shah

Aalap Shah is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the technology sector, currently serving as a Senior Director at Cisco since January 2001. Key responsibilities include leading platform engineering and FPGA development within the Service Provider Group. Previously, Aalap held several leadership roles at Cisco, including Director Engineering for System and FPGA Design and for Platform Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed hardware design for optical and routing products. Early career experiences included management positions in hardware engineering and development, contributing to initiatives for high-end routing and optical systems. Aalap began a professional journey in customer support for test equipment at Automation System and holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from California State University-Sacramento, as well as a BE in Electronics and Communication from Gujarat University.
