Bob Loose

Bob Loose is a highly experienced mechanical engineer with a career spanning over three decades, primarily at Cisco Systems since February 1997, where Bob serves as the Manager of Mechanical Engineering. In this role, Bob leads a development team focused on the design, development, testing, and production of various Cisco Router series, including the 800, 1800, 1900, 2600, 2800, 2900, 3600, 3700, 3800, and 3900. Previous experience includes managerial and engineering roles at BroadBand Technologies as Principal Engineer and Nortel as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, as well as an early career position at Bell-Northern Research. Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University, earned between 1978 and 1983.
