Logan Butler

Logan Butler's work experience includes various roles in engineering firms and organizations.

From 2021 to the present, Logan has been working as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Andrews Cooper, specializing in automation, manufacturing, and product development. Prior to this role, Logan served as a Staff Mechanical Engineer at the same company from April 2021 to July 2022.

In 2021, Logan also owned MatchstickWorks, LLC, taking on the role of Owner.

Before joining Andrews Cooper and MatchstickWorks, Logan worked as a Structures and Payloads Design Engineer at Boeing from March 2019 to November 2020.

From 2013 to 2018, Logan held multiple positions at Collins Aerospace, including Senior Design Engineer - Ecosystems and Product Design Engineer - Advanced Lavatories and Cabin Interiors. During this time, Logan contributed to various design patents, led development programs, and designed innovative aircraft monuments.

Logan's early career involved roles at Iowa State University, such as being part of the CyDrone Project - Airframe Design Team from 2010 to 2013, co-founding and managing the AerEpedia project from 2011 to 2012, and serving as a Peer Mentor from 2010 to 2012.

Additionally, Logan gained engineering experience as an intern at B/E Aerospace - Flight Structures, Inc. in 2012.

Logan Butler attended Iowa State University from 2008 to 2013, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Logan'smajor was Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Nuclear Engineering.
