Cheryl Chin

Cheryl Chin has extensive experience at Cisco since July 2007, serving in various program and project management roles, particularly focused on privacy governance, compliance, and risk management. As Privacy Lead, Cheryl orchestrates the implementation of privacy technology tools, enhancing operational efficiency. Cheryl also leads the Connected Asian Affinity Network, promoting inclusion within the Pan-Asian community at Cisco. Previous roles include managing strategic planning for governance, risk, and compliance initiatives, and driving university hiring programs while fostering collaboration across teams. Cheryl's career began in human resources, where foundational skills were developed at companies such as Hewlett-Packard and Amdahl. Cheryl holds a BA in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a certificate from Stanford University's Advanced Management Program.
