Dennis Blankenship has a distinguished career in software engineering and leadership spanning over three decades. At Cisco, from March 1994 to December 2024, Blankenship served as the Head of Enterprise Routing Engineering, overseeing engineering for the Enterprise Routing portfolio and global teams, and previously held positions as Senior Director of Software Engineering and Director of Engineering for Software Development and Test. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President for Product Development Unit IP Operating Systems at Ericsson from October 2010 to July 2015. Since July 2014, Blankenship has been a Board Member and Chair of the College of Engineering Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of South Florida, contributing to engineering education and strategies. Blankenship holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Technology, and Software Engineering from the University of South Florida.
