Kannan Ramamurthy

Kannan Ramamurthy is an experienced leader in engineering operations and program management, with a career spanning over two decades in prominent technology companies. At Cisco, from August 2017 to October 2022, Kannan served as Sr. Director of Engineering PMO & Operations, overseeing a team focused on new product introduction (NPI) programs, business operations, and analytics across various business lines including Optical and Routing. Previously, Kannan held key roles at Juniper Networks Inc., overseeing the Routing Business Unit and contributing to the growth of the program management team. Kannan’s earlier experience includes significant positions at Honeywell Technology Solutions, where responsibilities ranged from managing product transitions to software engineering for aviation safety systems. Academically, Kannan holds an MS in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology and completed an Executive General Management Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
