Mike Younkers

Mike Younkers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in systems engineering and cybersecurity. Currently serving as the Senior Director of the Government Solutions Organization at Cisco since March 2018, Mike leads a global team of systems engineers dedicated to modernizing government IT systems. Previously, as Vice President of Worldwide Systems & Sales Engineering at LookingGlass Cyber Solutions Inc., Mike provided cybersecurity solutions to a diverse clientele, including government entities and major corporations. Mike's earlier roles at Cisco from 2000 to 2015 included positions as Senior Director and Senior Systems Engineering Manager, as well as experience as a systems engineer. Mike's career began at the Central Intelligence Agency, where technical operations and network engineering were pivotal in shaping future endeavors. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications & Computers from The George Washington University, and both a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Computer Science from the University of Maryland.
