Oleksandr I.

Oleksandr I. is an accomplished optical engineering technical leader at Cisco, with prior experience as a staff engineer at RAM Photonics, LLC, and a scientist at IPG Photonics Silicon Valley Technology Center. They developed high-power ultraviolet fiber lasers and conducted advanced research in laser science at Continuum Electro-Optics and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Oleksandr earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Temple University, where their graduate work resulted in multiple first-author publications and significant contributions to ultrafast laser source technologies. They also have a strong background in teaching and coaching, having served as a chemistry Olympiad trainer and teaching assistant.
