Shailaja Shankar

Shailaja Shankar is the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cisco Security Business Group. A respected and transformative leader with strong executive management skills and deep technical experience, Shankar is responsible for driving the business and engineering strategy for Cisco Secure. Previously, Shankar was SVP of Engineering, Enterprise at McAfee, responsible for its security and threat defense solutions across endpoint, extended detection and response, data center security, and cloud native application protection. In addition to her deep technical product and portfolio development experience, Shankar also prides herself on being a champion of diversity, mentoring the next generation of technical women and is a global advisor with ‘How Women Lead’.
